She came into rescue after her owners separated. With four young children and one very spirited dog, her previous home just couldn’t keep up. Described (accurately!) as “wild,” Poppy is a whirlwind of friendliness, enthusiasm, and non-stop motion.

She adores people, loves other dogs, and throws herself into every moment with gusto. On the lead, she pulls like a freight train — so much so she’s made herself sick from the excitement (don’t worry, she’s tiny and manageable). Off lead, she’s got very little recall… because she’s far too busy hunting imaginary squirrels and living her best life.

Poppy needs a pet home that matches her energy — someone active, patient, and ready to invest in her training and stability. She’s not for the faint-hearted, but if you’re looking for a joyful, chaotic little companion who’ll keep you on your toes and fill your days with laughter, she might just be your girl.
