OPHELIA & OWEN

Ophelia and Owen are a lovely pair who were given up as two energetic dogs were proving too much for a family that was out of the house most of the day.  They are just what would probably expect from a pair of one year old Cockerpoos, hairy, excitable and very energetic - LOL

As you would expect given their age they still need plenty of training in all areas but are reasonably good, their owner said they had occaisonal accidents in the house but they were being left for 7 hours so for such young dogs this is to be expected.  Owen is the more sensitive of the pair, he is a little more hesitant of new things and people and seems a quieter boy, Ophelia is more forward and excitable (sometimes this manifests itself in her being vocal) and immediatly happy to meet new people.   They have not been off lead before but the owners said their recall in the garden was pretty good so at least that is something to work from.  They are used to older children and are getting on well with all our other dogs, sharing a kennel/conservatory with a number of others.

Both dogs are still a little young to be neutered but this is something that must be done when the time is right (SYESSR will pay for it).  To ensure there was no unwanted puppies Owen had the chemical castration injection in November.
