NELLIE

The lovely Nellie has a very sad story, she came to us after being found at the beginning of November.  This lovely sweet girl spent bonfire night, scared, alone and pregnant in the stray kennels and nobody came to claim her.

She came to us and shortly after gave birth to just one puppy who we named Solo.   When she was first with us she didn't move around much so it wasn't until later that we notice she was often limping but as she was feeding Solo any sort of treatment etc was not possible.  Now Solo is older and getting ready to go to his new home we are looking for somewhere for Nellie too.  We would love to find her a permanent home so we don't have to move her again but failing that will be looking for a foster home where she can stay while she goes through the medical treatment she needs so she can have a healthy and happy life.

Nellie needs the usual vaccinating, microchipping and spaying, however a recent xray shows she needs surgery on her crutiate and her obvious numerous litters have resulted in larger teats and some mammory tumors.  She is therefore going to need these removing, this may be done at the time of spaying but could also need to be done in two operations depending on the length of time it takes.  Nellie will be wanting somewhere with someone who can take her to the vets for all these procedures and give her the tlc she will need afterwards.  SYESSR will cover the associated costs.

Nellie seems a very sweet girl, who is friendly with dogs and people alike as she is a stray we have no knowledge of her back ground or age etc but what we have seen we like.  She deserves to be loved and cared for for the rest of her life and we really hope someone will come forward to do that for her.
