GINNER

Ginner is an absolutely gorgeous, but very lively young lad. Due to a family member being involved in an accident, he has missed out on some of his training over the last few months, so he’ll need a refresher — and at his age, continued training in all areas will still be essential.  He is still quite mouthy so a home without children would be prefferable. 

He can be a little anxious at times, so he’ll benefit from patient owners who can help build his confidence. He has the potential to grow into a truly fantastic boy with the right guidance.

Ginner is generally good with other dogs, though he can be a bit possessive around food, He came from a home with a number of bitches and lives happily with other dogs at kennels but he did have an issue when we tried to rehome him with another boy.  We therefore feel it would be better if he is either homed as an only dog or with a bitch. He needs a bit more practice on the lead; he doesn’t pull excessively, but walking in a straight line isn’t always his strong point. Off‑lead, he has fairly good recall.

He quite wild so not for the novice spaniel owner but if you want a dog with personality and boundless energy Ginner could be the dog for you.
