FILOU (FEELOO)

Filou (pronounced Feeloo) is a 10 and a half year old Porcelain Scent Hound (French).  Filou lived alone with an elderly gentleman, he was much loved and they had a very close bond.    He is a lovely boy who absolutely loves people and being given a stroke or a fuss.  He is tolerant of other dogs out & about but doesn't like them in his face so would probably be happier as an only dog His hearing is fine but being a Scent hound when his nose goes on the floor he becomes selectively deaf & takes little notice, he is however very responsive to the sound of treats which used sparingly (he does like bits of carrot which helps) have the desired effect He walks quite nicely on a lead and would probably be best kept on lead unless in a secure area Hes a bit of a steady lad just likes to potter & trot & explore with his nose down, he doesn't seem to take much notice of toys.   Filou is a beautiful sweet lad who just needs his own forever home, he doesn't even necessarily need someone to walk him, with a largish secure garden he could potter around and a fireside to snooze by he would be perfectly happy.
