ELLIE

Ellie is a sweet little Cocker Spaniel who arrived in rescue with her brother, Bert.

She was very shy at first, but her confidence has grown quickly and she’s now the braver of the pair. She’s gentle, friendly and good with both people and other dogs — a real little sweetheart who just wants to feel safe and loved.

We don’t know much about Ellie’s past, but it’s clear she hasn’t had many experiences or much training. She’ll need patient guidance in all areas as she learns about the world, but she’s bright, willing and enjoys reassurance.

Ellie is comfortable being left with other dogs, but she becomes stressed if left completely alone. It’s likely she’s never been without canine company, so a friendly resident dog in her new home will really help her settle and reduce any separation anxiety.

Ellie isn’t old enough to be neutered yet. This will need to be done around 3–4 months after her first season, and SYESSR will cover the full cost of the procedure.

Ellie is a loving, gentle girl who will flourish in a calm, understanding home with a doggy friend by her side. She has so much potential and will make a wonderful companion for the right family.
