BERTIE

BERTIE HAS NOW GONE TO A NEW HOME

Bertie is a lovely friendly boy who has come into rescue following the separation of his owners, the lady was left with too many dogs and horses to be able to give them the time and attention they deserve so decided it was in their best interest for some of them to be rehomed.  

Although originally a working dog Bertie is a very loving dog who just loves being fussed and played with.  He is good with other dogs and children. There is a question mark over his hearing as he often appears not to hear but this could just be the spaniel in him.  He walks reasonably well on a lead, which is a good thing as he cannot go off lead due to his very poor recall (hence the query about his hearing), his owner said he will come back eventually but that could be in 3 hours or more so he really needs to stay on his lead.  Bertie did not live in a house so may need a little work on his housetraining but he likes to be very clean in his kennel so as long as you get him out regularly this should not take long.  

Bertie does need vaccinations and neutering and this will be done shortly.
