Donations
We need all
the help we can get at the moment, this does not necessarily mean donating
money (although that of course is very welcome), donations of any of the
following would help us enormously. We need donations of the following
items (why not join us at one of our events and bring a item or two along);

Elsecar Heritage Centre - June 8th & 22nd 10.00am - 3.00pm - July 19th & 20th Open Day & Barbeque -Sunday 15th June Cliffe Kennels, Hoylandswaine 12 Noon - 4.00pm (ticket required) Kirk Balk School Gala - Sunday 6th July 10.00am - 3.00pm Wath Town Gala - Saturday 12th July Norton Gala - August (date to be confirmed) Bark in the Park - Saturday 23rd August Ravensknowle Park, Huddersfield Wentworth Village Day - Sunday 14th September 10.00am - 3.00pm We really need additional help to run the stalls on these dates, could you help at any of them (even just one? Gift Aid
Signing up for gift aid is a great way to get the tax man to give money to our fantastic Springers. If you currently pay tax you can gift aid any donations which means that for every £1 you donate the charity will receive an additional 28p without any additional cost to you.
Springerball - Win Money And Support Us Too!
Springerball is still going strong and is proving a great way to raise funds whilst giving you a chance to win cash too. There are still a few numbers available so why not give it a try. It would be great if we could get all the numbers allocated.
It's very simple, you pay £5 per month and are allocated a number from 1 – 49. On the first Saturday of each month whichever bonus ball is drawn in the National Lottery, main lotto draw then the person who has been allocated that number wins £50, the remaining funds will go direct to our special dogs, helping to ensure that receive the care they deserve. Simply complete the bank mandate form included in the newsletter and return it to us. Next month the winner could be you!
Recycling
We can now raise funds by recyling Aluminium cans/foil, mobile phones and ink cartridges, give us a call to find out more. Or bring them along to one of our events.
Special Supporter Scheme
For a minimum donation of £1 per month (set up on standing order) you can join our Special Supporter Scheme, As a special supporter you will receive a certificate of support, a photograph of your chosen dog(s), entry in our annual supporters draw and a Christmas card from your chosen dog(s). Physical Help
We also need physical help at times too. We are always in need of regular dog walkers up at the kennels plus help manning stalls at our fundraising events, if you can help please give us a call. (see back page for contact details)
Help Us Get Some Free Publicity
If you got your Springer from us
you may be able to help us get some free
publicity. Pick Me Up magazine runs run a weekly success story, this is where
you could help. Please send them:
¨ Your name, address and age (don’t worry only your name, age & city would be published)
¨ A picture of you with your rescued Springer
¨ A few lines on how the dog is getting on in their new home, remembering to tell them its name and to say you got the dog from South Yorkshire English Springer Spaniel Rescue and quoting our website address, www.syessr.co.uk
